In the Temperate Deciduous forest (TDF) the temperature can vary from -30 to 30 degrees Celsius but the average temperature is 10 degrees. The temperate deciduous forest has hot summers and cold winters it also gets around 750 to 1,500 mm of rain each year. The TDF’s most recognizable feature is that is goes through four seasons. The vegetation in the TDF is very colourful during the fall and lose leaves in preparation for the winter; it is full of broad leaf trees (oaks, maples, beeches), shrubs, perennial herbs, and mosses. These biomes are located in eastern United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan.
